Healthy Snacks for Kids
This is fun for kids and a great way to get them enjoying healthy snacking!
Cut in to sticks or shapes (fun to get creative here): zucchini, celery, carrots, cucumbers, banana, apple, pineapple, or melon balls. spinach or lettuce leaves, or orange sections, etc For Easter, remember some bunny ears!
Now, get almond butter, or peanut butter, cream cheese, yogurt, hummus, something fun to use as “adhesive”
Now the decorations: raisins, coconut, trail mix, seeds, nuts, grapes, raisins, olives, frozen peas or beans.
Lay out the materials and give each child plastic utensils and a plate “canvas.” For Easter, you could suggest they make bunnies, or they can build flowers, cars, words, names, sharks, or monsters, .
This also makes a great birthday party activity.
